Platform bed with a workspace in a period flat

project goal

Separate the living and sleeping areas and integrate them elegantly into the room.

about this project

This piece was designed for a compact flat in order to draw attention away from the bed. The platform offers a great deal of extra storage and replaces a wardrobe. The design resembles a long sideboard and makes room for a mattress without immediately reading as a bed. The room now feels considerably tidier than before.
